It was a total joy to photograph Watson, the dog, and his mom and dad at a favorite park in Birmingham a few days ago. I may be dogless at present but most of my life has included a dog (or two) as a major companion/sibling/baby/buddy, what have you. I know what that deep love and bond is like. I know what it is to miss the littlest things like a soft pink nose, those expressive ears, the pure ecstasy in my dog’s half closed eyes when she gets a nice stick to chew on…These minute little things are so special to capture on camera so that we can relive/refeel those moments with our sweetest fur buddies.
